Cellist, Pianist, Vocalist, and Composer creating textural, faith-filled pop with jazz influence

Blending piano-driven pop with cello and jazz influences, Gennevieve Braden is a Nashville based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music reflects her deep faith. Gennevieve’s first touring experience started at the age of 13 and has continued to this day, as she plays cello, keys, and background vocals with various artists and bands at concerts, worship events, and festivals. Her musical roots run deep; singing before she could talk and writing her first songs on the piano as a toddler, her interest in the musical world was piqued from the start. A natural musician, Gennevieve began formal piano lessons at age four, and quickly added cello, clarinet, and saxophone. Growing up, she continued exploring many genres, studying and performing in classical, jazz, rock, and playing on worship teams.

Now a senior commercial piano major at Belmont University, she continues to explore her musical passion in a variety of ways, including writing and arranging original music, studio work, and accompanying a variety of artists. She currently serves on the worship team at The Church at Avenue South in Nashville and seeks to honor God in all she does.
